It isn't relative to this post, but I still think something is going on at THE POUND, with the head basketball coach starting the school year and then taking a job at another school system. Of course that may have had some 'parents' persuasion also.. It just seems that no one can be happy with whatever is going on at THE POUND.

As for the basketball coach, to my knowledge, that was strictly a personal decision by the coach. Had really nothing to do with anything else. Of course, he is originally from Clintwood anyway.
They just need to shut the place down!
I am sure Crabtree will be next to go....

What was the last boys sport at Pound that had a winning record? Maybe the right question is when was the last time a boys sport at Pound had a winning record? That place is a mess!
It is hard to please everybody. "Here is my son and he is the Qb"....I don't know about anywhere else, but I would have loved to see some tell some of the older [img]/LDPforum/ubbthreads/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif[/img] coaches in the league this.

To be honest, I can recall years when you didn't really want to play Pound. I just don't know exactly what happened. They had very good baseball and basketball teams . The football didn't have quite as much success, still it wasn't this stream of "run'em offs'.
